About

Tianjin Medical University, founded in 1951, is a national "world-class discipline construction university" and a key construction university of the "211 Project". Tianjin Municipal People's Government, the National Health Commission and the Ministry of Education jointly built the university. The school has a long history. It is one of the first two medical schools approved by the state to pilot run an eight year program and one of the first 15 schools to pilot run a seven year program. The university actively devotes itself to the medical higher education in China, adheres to education and teaching as the foundation of the university, scientific research as the way to strengthen the university, takes students as the foundation, and devotes itself to the education satisfying the people. It has cultivated a large number of high-quality medical talents for the country and the medical and health industry in Tianjin.
