Wuhan University of Technology is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education. It is one of the first universities to be listed in the "211 Project" and the "double first-class" construction. It is also a university jointly built by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Transport and other ministries and commissions. The history of running the school originates from the Hubei Arts and Crafts School established in 1898. In 122 years of running the school, especially in the past 70 years, the school has trained more than 600000 senior professionals. It is the largest school directly under the Ministry of Education to cultivate talents for the three major industries of building materials, construction, transportation and automobile. The university has formed a discipline and specialty system with engineering as the main subject and science, engineering, economics, management, art, literature, law and other disciplines infiltrating and developing harmoniously.
