Northeast Normal University is a university directly under the Ministry of Education, a key university under the national "211 Project", a university for the construction of a superior discipline innovation platform under the "985 Project" of teacher education, and a national "double first-class" university. The school is located in Changchun, the beautiful spring city in the north. The university, formerly known as Northeast University, was founded in 1946 and is the first comprehensive university established by the CPC in the northeast. The university has gradually become a comprehensive and research-oriented university covering eleven disciplines, including philosophy, economics, law, education, literature, history, science, engineering, agriculture, management and art.
